For VIGIL, Vela gathers a new crew of writers. The single exception is one of Australia’s best playwrights, Patricia Cornelius. Under Vela’s guidance, Cornelius works alongside Bryan Andy, Kush Kuiy, Sahra Davoudi, Samah Sabawi and choreographer Tara Jade Samaya to create a tapestry of stories set against the busy city backdrop.
